I just ate three bagels prepared exactly that way last night before bed. You've got to wait a minute for the bagels to cool so as not to melt the cheese and create a mess. Then a layer of jam and munch them down. I'm not much of a breakfast guy but late at night I eat cereal and bagels like that. If you all are into that taste combination you ought to love waffles topped with melted jam (in the microwave) and then topped with a healthy amount of whipped cream. Now that's a breakfast food for champions.
