Put the outer dog on it, Dex when you replace the clutch cover. Very nice looking 440! Have a look at the Pro-Safety dogs, more options, better made and look cool, especially the 5 point ones. I have found that they keep the saws from falling on their side and are big enough to keep the case off the ground.

Why just the outer dog ?

I like the ones from Nate Cox. A little thicker than stock and 4 point similar to pro safety.

It'll get a little grabby with the big dogs. Much more user friendly with the stock duals but they stink for big bark.

    Persistence pays off.. :)

I should have taken yours at the GTG in May.

Folks, I didn't have the money for Boog's MS 440 (it's Minty) in May at Swags GTG. But he handed it to me to look at and just said "Take it, we'll figure something out about the money". I wanted to take it so bad! But I didn't..

That's the type of people you deal with here. All great people with hearts that are bigger than their heads!

Very nice looking saw there friend. I just swapped a tank on my well used 044, but plan on bringing it on Saturday. I wouldn't mind seeing how an early 44 and a late one compares. Looking forward to hanging with you guys, always in good company!

    Quick update. . . .

Well, the 440 was an epic fail at the GTG.. Didn't run right. I waited till that day to start it.

Needed a fuel line, impulse, and carb clean. Took a little while to get it done, but it finally is..

I also bought a new clutch cover, a new Arctic sticker. There is still 2 items that need to be put on. But they are small and on their way here now. Plus an awesome Double Barrel muffler mod by SquareFile  Thanks bud!!

It's also been cleaned a little more (Pitch has been cleaned a little better) and now ready to rock and roll!! :dex:

Here ya go.. Sounds better in person. Nice little "pop" at idle and sounds great at WOT.

Change the video quality to 1080p. For some reason it's set much lower. Looks pretty bad if you don't change it.

That's around 3.6 seconds. Not bad considering that the 385xp and Solo 681 are right at 3 seconds.
