    Hello
Just trying to keep up with the joneses so we picked up a 50k BTU LP Fire Table for the deck on sale at Lowes until Aug 30 th this week since there was only 3-4 left in our local store.
I also hear that August will be cooler than normal this year???
Shop Bond 30-in W 50,000-BTU Black, Brown Steel Liquid Propane Fire Table at Lowes.com
We also got the 5% additional discount with the Lowes credit card. However because it was so inexpensive, it comes with that Blazay lava rock.
So to make it look like we paid a lot more than we did, I thought some nice ruby red lava glass to give it more PeeZaz!
Glass crystals and beads for fire pits and fireplaces with gas burners
However not sure what size or shape to get?
    Sizes
    Small - 1/4" or Medium - 1/2" or Large - 1" ???
    Shape
    1. - crystals
Glass shards that are slightly tumbled
    2. - Beads or Pebles
Tumbled completely to give more rounded edges
    3. - Reflective
Glass crystals that have a mirror like layer on one side that reflects light better

So what do you have or like best?

Not ever having, or even being around a propane fire pit, I can't help you out. However, I'm thinking whomever thought to sell glass drops for that much is a genius and getting rich.

Me, being cheap, er thrifty, and uncool, I'd just recycle some glass bottles and have a mix of browns, clears and blues :D. I'll bet for the money to buy the glass you could buy a tumbler and custom mix your own (or have batches of different colors and change them out each month). I'll bet a few of the beer swillers around here would donate some bottles :drunk:

It is not regular glass, it is high temp stuff like the fire glass in the fire door of your stove.
    It is ready

I use the Pellet Fire pit for making Smoores and the Gas Grill for cooking. Each one has it's best use. :)

Just add some white one for the 4t of July and your firepit will be patriotic :usa:

They were out of the blue so I got the Ruby Red and Rain Drop (Clear) and setup them up and fire them up!
The FireGlass absorbs and radiates the heat better and does not get brittle like Lava Rocks or Ceramic Logs!!!
